birth

as with any birthing process, this post isn't necessarily the beginning but more of a milestone.  in this case, it marks the establishment of a blog to chronicle our adventure as we say goodbye to our current lives and attempt to forge a new one as a family.  as with any birth, this isn't the end, but the beginning of a much larger process of growing and thriving and stumbling and discovery.

our blog will serve to hold all of it, from the good to the bad to anything in between.  we expect posting may be sporadic at first and then build as our path unfolds as we make our upcoming move, our preparations for the journey, and our new lives in the jungle.
